How do I donate?
Open Causes, pick the one you want to support, say how many meals or kits, and pay. Payment runs through Razorpay — card, UPI or netbanking. You are told what you are buying and for which day before any money moves.
Is my donation eligible for tax exemption?
Yes. We are registered under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, so a donation comes off your taxable income. Leave your PAN on the form and the certificate reaches you within seven working days. Skip it and the donation still works exactly the same — you simply cannot claim the deduction.
How do I know it actually reached somebody?
Your name goes on the label of the parcel that is handed over, and the handover is photographed and sent to you on WhatsApp. A donation here buys a specific thing on a specific day rather than a share of a general fund, which is what makes that possible.
Can I help without donating money?
Yes, and it is often more useful. Volunteer with us, share a campaign, introduce us to a company looking for a CSR partner, or tell us about somebody who needs help. Write to us using the form on this page.
How can I start a fundraiser?
Send us a message through the form on this page with what the case is and who it is for. Once we have verified the documents, our team helps you set up the campaign and takes it from there.
How are medical cases verified?
Every medical case we raise money for is checked against hospital documents and medical reports, and discussed with the treating doctors, before it goes up. Nothing is published on somebody's word alone.
How quickly will you reply?
Within one working day for anything sent through this page. A phone call during office hours is faster. If it is about a donation you have already made, please have the donation code from your receipt to hand — it takes us straight to it.
